I used 1/4" sanded plywood from Home Depot 12" x 14" for the front and back and 12" x 12" for the ends and bottom without lip for kindle/ Ipad. I used AG CA glue from Amazon to hold it together, Minwax Golden Oak Stain, and Minwax Polycrylic for shine and added protection. The base has a piece of felt to protect glasses for phones stored in there.
