In the beginning I had the intention to design a much more complex airplane with ribs and spars and landing gear etc. and everything much more three-dimensional. But in the end, impatience won out: I just wanted to have something on the table in an hour or two. It took me just under an hour to draw the plane. The ribbed version was laser-cut in 15 minutes. The engraved version took about an hour with my 10W laser. Et voilà!
And before anyone asks: This little thing is just for fun or to hang on the ceiling or nail to the wall. It's not a real model airplane, so it doesn't fly. Maybe the next generation ...
