I tried two different speeds because the first,at 80 mm/s as suggested by a previous Xtooler worked great on the text but my small logo was unreadable.
I tried a different image and raised the speed to 85mm/s. Both the image and text came out perfect (or what I consider perfect for me). Remember, the settings I use are a reference and may not work for all sizes.
The cover was 2mm on the top part (with the skull) and 2.5mm on the bottom (where my name and the cross are).
I tested the patterns on an old tablet cover and that's when I realized I needed to adjust it.
This has more of a texture but it worked just not as clean as I wanted. This was 80mm/s. 2mm thick. I engraved too deep; it reached into the cardboard center of the PU leather case.
