  1. Start with your basic box using the boxgenerator at https://www.festi.info/boxes.py/ . Download as SVG and import into XCS.
  2. Add a design that suits your desk. You can find free designs at websites like pixabay. For my box I chose a lotus flower.
  3. Use the trace image function to delete unwanted parts of the image.

Step 2: Define your design

  1. A lotus flower is perfect for creating visual effects. To achieve these set the base flower to cut and some petals to engrave.
Step 3: Arrage the design with the organizer

  1. Now make 3 copies of the flower and add one to each side of the organizer. Make sure to align it perfectly by using Align → Horizontal align center and Align → Vertical align center.
Step 4: Set your processing parameters by layer
  1. Set your processing parameters or use the one I provided with the file
Step 5: Cut and assemble

  1. Once your laser has finished the job, assemble all the pieces together. Start with the bottom layer and add the sides. Then attach the back and the two front pieces.
  2. Add some sticky notes and enjoy your new desktop organizer.
