De voorbereiding voor deze onderzetters is eenvoudig. Gebruik schuurpapier met korrelgroottes 80-180-400 samen met een oscillerende schuurmachine om snel de hoge punten van de onderzetter glad te schuren. Na het voltooien van de gravure, rond je het proces af door een matte heldere lak aan te brengen.

Na het voorbereiden van de leisteen onderzetter met schuurpapier (80-180-400) en een schuurmachine, heb ik de foto en tekst ingesteld, rekening houdend met de 85 mm breedte van mijn afbeelding. Het afwerkingsproces omvatte het schoonmaken van het oppervlak en het aanbrengen van een laag matte blanke lak. Ik ben trots op het eindresultaat van mijn inspanningen, waarbij de gegraveerde leisteen onderzetter een verzorgde en gepersonaliseerde uitstraling heeft gekregen.
