Step 1: Design Stage 1

Step 1) For this deviation a image is brought in from the computer, this image is set to be cut out of acrylic but not before it is copied to create a second one. One will be set to be cut the other to be scored for alignment help.

Step 2: Design Stage 2)

In this step wording is created by the use of the text button, the default Hello is edited to the desired wording in the text edit box. In this case it is going to say “Who is Walking Me?” once the font and sizing is chosen the curving feature is use to give it a slight bend. Again this wording is also copied to create a second copy.

Step 3: Design Stage 3

Step 3) Now a back ground is needed, this back ground will be made by creating an oval with the insert button. This over is sized to to the needed amount. it is placed so the dog image and the wording is centered within the oval. Now is when the dog and wording are duplicated. 1 set will be set to score and 1 set to be cut from the different materials.

Step 5) Here is where it all comes together, the white basswood is glued to the walnut right on top of the scoring marks to help line up, the black acrylic is also glued to the walnut in the same fashion. Then to finish it off a small metal hook is screwed into the walnut for the place to hang the leash.
