First step is to spray the card with the marking spray. You want a light even coat.

Next you measure the usable space on the card to see how big to make your design. These turned out perfectly at 55mm x 55mm.

Step 3

Once in lightburn you would create a box and make that a tool layer of 55mm x 55mm. This allows you to scale the design and I have the laser set to start from current position and then I have the origin in the top left corner. This allows you to line up the laser on the corner of the card.

I created the design and used my previously known settings for stainless with marking spray which was 100mm/s at 95% power. After centering everything on both the horizontal and vertical axis we were ready to go.

Step 5

I aligned the laser on the top corner and framed it. It looked good so I ran the job. One hint could be to make sure you always preview to make sure the job looks like it should.

After the card finishes, you wash off the spray with just water and you are done.
