Screw or Nail hanger - xTool Projects
Well it is no secret, a lot of projects are made with thin material, it is hard to find ways to hang some of the projects to allow screws or even nails to hang them on walls. Many times some of these projects can get heavy with multiple layers. You will want a fool prove way to have a strong hanger. This how-to will show you how to make your own.

Step 1) Start with a fresh work area, select the shape feature and grab a rounded square shape, this shape can then be re-sized to the size needed. once this is complete right click and copy and paste so you have 3 identical shapes. With one of them re-size it to a smaller square

Step 2) This step take the smaller square and place it in the center of one of the other ones, to line it up perfectly use the alignment tool and select horizontal and vertical. once this is center group the 2 together. now insert a small circle this circle needs to be a bit bigger that most screw heads, this size is a rough guess as most screw heads are pretty commonly sized the same. In addition to the small circle also add a small rectangle.

Step 3) In this step position the rectangle so it is just above small circle and is slightly over lapping, then with the combine feature use unite to make them one piece. this new created hole will be for all screws and nails for hanging. take this new made shape and place it in the last rounded square as close to center as you can if needed use the alignment tools again.

Step 4) Now that you have these 2 parts made set the settings to all be cut, you may only need one of these but depending on the size of your scraps it is best to make a few for future needs as they will be ready to use.

Step 5) Once the laser machine has finished up cutting take them and simply glue the 2 different pieces together on top of each other.

Step 6) Now they are ready to be glued on your project for hanging, When gluing these be sure to have it centered as possible on your project and the hole is on the bottom so your screw or nail can fit in the hole and go upwards. look at the examples.
