Designing the bow tie was super easy (of course with Sketchup Make, but it also works with any other drawing program where you can export DXF or SVG data) Before I generated the DXF file, I adjusted the size and design a little. Theoretically, you could choose any motif and wear it to a wedding or birthday party!

With the above settings you have cut out the file relatively quickly. As you can see in the picture, I have added an optional front part with text, which you can customize as you wish and use to make your own bow tie, for example with your names!

Assembly is also super easy! First, I painted the back part brown (it has to match the color of your shoes and belt, of course!) The two parts are then placed on top of each other and attached to each other with superglue. The elastic band described above (brown in my case) is cut into two pieces. A short one, which is placed or glued around the two wooden pieces, and a long one, which you should measure on your neck first! Then glue this to the bow tie in a circle so that it is not too tight, but can still be placed around your neck (or your shirt) with a little air.
Now you have a bow tie for every occasion that you don't even have to tie!
There are no limits to your creativity for other motifs: I have attached a picture in which I have placed our names in a heart design and made it as a bow tie.
