Inlayed Trees

This project starts with a tree shape from the shapes list, it is then sized to the final size it will be. a second tree is copied from the first one.

With this step a narrow rectangle is created and set slightly on an angle, this rectangle is copied a few times and is placed across the tree. with the combine feature it is then subtracted to remove these pieces.

in this step the main tree is once again copied to outline the tree with the pieces missing that was created. once this is exactly over top it is then set to be cut.

Here is where it gets tricky, each backing gets opposite pieces from each type of wood for the contrast, but once glued they are clear caoted and ready to display this holiday season.
