Information
This is a decoration to hang up and enjoy. I use a D1 10W Pro to cut everything and used acrylic paints and glue to bring it all together. I did make a tiny hole in the frame if you would like to hang it on a wall with a nail. I used 3mm Basswood each layer.

Step1: File Design

I uploaded a file for creative space and a file for Lightburn, they both work. I designed each layer to be 11inch by 11 inches but scaled it down to 5.5 inch by 5.5 inches to get 4 layers per sheet of basswood. The railings would come out better with the bigger scaled version.

Make sure that you only have the desired layers active when you go to cut out the layers. You may use my settings but run a test for your machine if you don't have settings for 3mm basswood already.

Step2: Cutting Layers

After you figure out the scale of each layer set up the wood in the machine to maximize space per sheet and then cut all layers out. Be careful when you separate the layer from the sheet because some pieces are fragile. Once cut out and carefully remove the layers from the sheet, stack them to make sure all layers were cut correctly.

Step3: Painting

Paint each layer in the colors you want. You don't need to paint the whole layer like we did. you will just need to paint the areas that will be visible, to find out what to paint put two layers over each other and take note of what areas of the bottom layer are exposed, remove the top layer and paint the area of the bottom layer.

Step4: Assembling The Display

Starting with the bottom two layers, I lay them on top of each other and figure out where I need to apply the glue. Make sure you align the borders up so the two layers will align up correctly. Once the glue is dry, continue with the next layer and continue this process until all layers are glued together.

NOTE: Before glueing the layer to the bottom layer make sure all areas that need to be painted are painted.
