      Graduation cards are relevant almost all year long with summer, and winter ceremonies.  Save this card idea for when the occasion comes around, or just to add to your library.

Step1: Import the design

In this project I created a design for the front of the card.  I simply imported the design and used the trace tool to create vectors for each part.  did a little bit of clean up so that all parts are held together.

Step2: Add in Text
Preview

This project will feature engraving and cut outs on the card stock.  I want to engrave the text and then cut out the image.  I have configured the design file for the different processing types.

Step3: Settings

The settings are for the D1 5W laser.  You may need to adjust the settings for your laser configuration.

Be sure to follow all the safety guidelines for your laser and always wear personal protective equipment when the laser is in operation.
