Summary

I saw this project and wanted to try it, still learning with my xTool M1 but practice makes perfect.  I used my xTool M1 to cut 3mm Basswood Plywood.  It's two pieces glued together the backer piece and the top piece.  One version is done with added the paint fill to the engraving, still need to perfect it.  I did do the score instead tried to engrave but wasn't successful in doing the paint fill in the engraving.

The other one I used Cricut Value Vinyl instead of engraving and using my Cricut to cut it out.  Still have took the time to use xTool M1as a cutter just yet but on my to do list. Found it easier to use vinyl instead of engraving.

I found the quote on Google and thought it would be fitting for anyone but was specifically done for a High School graduate.  Even though they use phones/laptops but think its a nice touch. Need to work on my painting skills a little bit more.
