    Here is a Wooden family name sign, this will be an indoor sign so for texture purposes the second layer will be raised using thin felt. This unique wood sign is not much different than a 2 layer wood sign most people make with 1/4" ( 6.3mm) plywood and a top layer of the same or thinner wood. This making gives a different look with a soft glow.

    First off for the base I used 1/4" (6.3mm) birch plywood, the top layer I selected a brown (to give nice contrast) soft felt. other material to complete this creation was spray glue, a clear carrier sheet (same as from HTV Heat Transfer Vinyl) all of the items needed can be purchased from Xtool
