Summary
XCS A.I. to create an image of a Power Lineman. Created the face of the clock using XCS as well and then proceed to design and build a clock. What make this project unique is that the wood (Douglas Fir) I used was from a cross arm of an old Electrical Pole. Just like the one shown in the image. Cut, Planned, Sanded and Routered the back for clock mechanism. Some of the other wood pieces for future clocks have holes from the Insulators. Maybe a Pen/Pencil Holder. My design is Approximately 5" Tall x 9" Wide x 1.5" Thick. xTool Laser did the hard part and provided the final touches which enhanced the repurposed wood. Pictures provided are Pre-Personalization, Name on my design was placed under foot.
