Step1: Create your text

This is the first step to your custom sign. I'm using the text "Hello Spring." Make sure that one is big and the other is small. After you find your perfect text, you need to weld the letters together so that they cut into one piece. Then, use the outline tool to make the backing of the text.

Step2: Find the right size

Now, let's find the perfect size. Put the text on the correct post and see if it fits perfectly. If not, use the new edit node function in the Xtool creative space to lower or raise the post to fit perfectly.

Step3: Add grass

Now, let's make the front of the sign. I wanted a grass-looking texture, so I imported a grass icon from the Xtool icons and combined them to get the perfect length.

Step4: Add flowers

Now, I wanted some flowers to put on the spring, so I picked out three from the design assets. Then, I added an outline to glue the flowers on to. Now, it's time to cut everything out. Make sure to have your laser safety glasses on, and that everything is set to cut.

Step5: Glue, and Paint

Now, it's time to glue it. I made it just a little too small, so I recommend increasing the size; the letters were very delicate and could break easily. I used the Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue. If you want to, I would recommend painting the sign before you start gluing.

Step6: Done

Now you're done with your custom sign.
