    Summary

This is a Plaque I made for our graduating AOL cub scouts. I wanted something nice but not too large and this is what I came up with. I used 1x 6x12.25 poplar for the back. The Arrow and Name are out of the 3mm Walnut plywood. The small words are out of the 3mm Basswood Plywood on Xtool's Website.

The arrow and smaller words should all stay the same size unless you upsize the whole thing. The names I changed for each child and increased or decreased the font until the name was as close (over or under) 160mm long, to fit under the arrow.

I used Wood glue and painted a very light layer on the arrow and words to attach them. This was the longest part of the process as some of the words separated the letters because of the font. It wasn't too bad I just laid them out straight and started on one end. The arrow and Name I measured and made even and used the same Glue to fix them to the back.
I did not use any finish on this. I contemplated adding a clear coat to seal it all but thought it looked fine without.

This is the first project I have tried to upload so if it doesn't work I will try to fix it. But I hope you enjoy and I would love to see what you create.
