    I wanted to try engraving colorfill so I made this notebook cover to test with 2 different shades of purple paint for the colorfill.

    3mm Basswood Plywood
    I used 1 12x12 sheet of basswood plywood. I covered half of it with painters tape. I used my xtool to cut the cover and to engrave the words and image. I think started filling in the words and images with the different purple shades of acrylic paint. Once the paint was almost dry, I removed the painters tape.
