Summary

I make hand crafted pens and love my xtool d1 pro for cutting intricate designs from 2mm turned wood.
first stage was to turn two different colours of wood to cylinders 3mm thick.
then using xtool ra2 rotary with chuck cut images  on both pieces of wood.
the next stage was to separate the cut-outs and swap into opposite piece and glue in place.
next stage was to put onto lathe to finish with light sanding and polishing.
last stage was to assemble to pen.
super pleased with how they turned out.
