I made this sign from 1/8 in baltic birch plywood. I used Sharpie to color the letters and then I put a protective clear coat on it. It turned out great, and I think it will be a great hit to the summer projects this Summer!!!
For the file you have two designs that look alike, don't delete one because they are actually different. the top one is for scoring out the letters and cutting the border. But the other one is all cutting. Once you cut and score out the design you can take it to your work table.
After that I glued the letters and the border to the backing board with tightbond thin super glue…that is where the scoring is going to help you out. With the scoring on the back now you can glue all your letters on to the outline of the scoring, and it will make the process go fast. Once you have everything glued together you can color the border and letters whatever happy summer colors you like. After that to prevent the colors from smugging I put a spray clear coating on it
