Try making a three-dimensional birthday cake card to surprise him.
Start the machine, open xTool Creative Space on the computer, and drag the required xcs file into it. Place the tool holder, put the white cardstock on the base plate, and carefully calibrate the processing range. Finally, confirm and adjust the settings, and prepare for the cutting work.
Cut the second white part in order according to the settings. The cutting order is beige cardstock, red cardstock, then green cardstock.
After cutting, replace with the blue base plate, and stick the cut white cardstock onto the blue base plate. Take out the red pen, put it in the pen holder, and install it on the machine. Carefully calibrate the processing range; finally confirm and adjust the settings, and prepare for the pen work.
Replace the beige cover cardstock and the other cake part white cardstock in turn. Mark the position, start the processing file, and draw the pattern.
After the red pen pattern is drawn, remove the red pen and replace it with an orange, green, and black paintbrush in that order. Separately run the pattern file for processing, until the pattern is painted.
Now that we have all the pieces we need, we're going to assemble them.
Using double sided tape, attach the red cardstock to the beige cover and fold it in half to create the cover of our card!
Fold the cake part along the dotted line and stick the back side with double-sided tape and stick it on the red cardboard center line position. Operate the other half of the cake in the same way to get the effect as shown in the picture
Apply double-sided tape in the position as shown in the picture, peel off the double-sided tape and stick the candle in the corresponding position, close the cake to get a complete three-dimensional cake.
Fold the lace ring in half, put double-sided tape on it in the position as shown in the picture, peel off the double-sided tape and put it on the cake of the following layer, and operate the green lace ring in the same way. Thus, the three-dimensional birthday cake greeting card is completed, send him to the birthday boy, give him a surprise!
Note
1. Be careful and precise when marking the position, otherwise a misaligned image can affect the results.
2. When processing the pen, do not move the cardstock during the pen switch, otherwise you will need to recalibrate and align.
3. When using double-sided adhesive for bonding, you can stick it a bit tighter, which will make your project look better.
4. Use cardstock with higher hardness, it will be easier to fold, and the three-dimensional cake effect will be better.
