3D Puzzle Alarm Clock with file from Etsy. Used Quartz mechanism purchased from Amazon. Made hands by using Inkscape to trace hands that I liked. Took a little tweaking to get the right diameter on the hands to get a press fit on the clock mechanism. I guess it could be an actual alarm clock if I would have purchased an alarm quartz mechanism, but I'm happy with the result nonetheless. Took a bit of patience to figure out how to assemble because the Etsy artist who supplied the file did not give instructions. Also, had to glue on a couple of the parts so that it wouldn't easily fall apart. Just used wood glue. My son's friend who this is a birthday gift for should be happy. More clocks to come in the future!
