I really wanted to use my crafting foam to create embellishments for greeting cards so I tried it and turned the first results into a magnet.

As this was more an experiment to get the right Settings I thought why not share for others as well.
I used these on the M1 and tried my way up.

I stared by 10 power and 10 speed and didn't worked. So please try with a little bit and get your right settings.

Step 2: ATTENTION

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Read or get information what foam you have as some ingredients are VERY HARMFUL like Chloroprene!

Step 3: Results of first Cuts

Of course the first try didn’t go through ao here are the first results that were perfect.

Also guessing some engraving settings worked very good.

Step 4: Crafting a magnet

I addes some doublesided tape to stick the magnet to the foam, I wanted to use some hot gun glue bit haven’t found mine… ops :D

Step 5: Use magnet

Only thing is left is to add the magnet to a fridge or your magnetic bar.

I hope this might help you to do some fun things with craft foam. Please again make sure the ingredients are not bad for your health or your machine!
