This can be made and then painted by the children before flowers are placed in it. 
Be mindful of the thickness of material you are using as this will change the width of the cut out on the base stand.

Before editing the rest of the design first make sure that you adjust the cut out on the base plate so that it will hold your thickness of material used. This was cut using 3mm material so adjust accordingly.

 

Once this is done you can add the names onto the flower pot.

Step 2: Cutting

Once cut you can either leave the pot with the wood effect or it could be painted using acrylic paints.

 

Add flowers to the top of the flower pot. Push the stems through the holes and arrange until there are no gaps.

 

You flower pot is ready to be given to the teacher.
