I am fascinated with multi-layered and light projects. I combined both to create this Easter Cross.

Step 1: Dessign

Took 3 graphics found on my paid graphic site that I have commercial license for and I edited all 3 to create the final product. Due to limitations of my ability and functionality of XCS I did most of the design in Lightburn and exported as an SVG file and imported that into XCS for final editing and processing.

I processed 2 cut tout crosses, 1 smaller cut tout for top and the back with the scripture and the light cable cut out. I then processed the sun and small crosses cut outs.

Step 3: Assembly Prep

Sand all pieces delicately, coat back and sun and small crosses cut tout with Rustoleum 2X flat white primer. all other cross cut touts were sanded and made to look rustic. Assembled all large crosses by gluing with clear gorilla glue. Each  piece was done individually. I then installed the light kit attaching to the inside with 3m tape. I then glued to the two sun design to the top cross cutout and tested for proper operation.
