Merry Christmas! I made this Christmas tree stand as a gift, to add some holiday cheer to everyone's home. I hope you enjoy making it.

I am making this with the help of the honeycomb and air assist. Start by pinning down the basswood with the material pins. Then open up the XCS software and load the provided design file. I auto measured and got 5mm and used Laser Flat. I used 100/5/1 as my cut settings. Move the design file to fit on your wood space and click Process.

The design is now cut through. I like to wipe the soot off the edges with a wet baby wipe. Removing the soot is important before painting, otherwise the soot may end up making your paint dirty.

Gather your paint material and lets start painting. I like to thin my acrylic paint with a couple drops of water. This allows me to paint 2 coats without it being too thick.

All done! The tree should fit in the slot stand nicely after painting. If it is still loose, you can add some glue to make it more steady. I hope you enjoyed making this Christmas tree with me.
