I am trying to download but only getting a file with the sides and little door. Previously I downloaded and got the front and back as well as the 3 squares. What am I missing here?

I'm working on building one. I think one limitation of this very nice bird house is that you cannot open it to clean it. I'm going to put some wood on the inside edge of the bottom of the sides -- so that the bottom can be screwed in and removed at a later time. Everything else is glued up so that it can't be taken apart.

Some instructions would be helpful. There aren't enough slats on canvas 3 to finish the roof. Albeit they the same size, there are no slats for the sides and under the roof on any canvas. I would suggest adding another slat canvas with enough for both or, in your instructions, suggest 2 of canvas 3.

Great project…although I am wondering if I missed a step….i cut the 4 layers today and my 3 squares from canvas 4 are not the same size..2 are and one is bigger…also seems my process seen the door all cut on walnut…and the picture lends me to believe there should be more ‘slats’ than what the canvas layout produced?

yes the 2 are uprights and the bigger one is the bottom so you re making a U shape. then the front and back are attached. then all the slats.
