You will see that you have the main part of the MOM sign as well as 2 stands that can be glued on to the back of the sign to make it free standing. Also there is a heart that can be used as a spacer between names if you wish.

Select the text tool and type in the names of the children. I used the default "Lato" font in this example. Other fonts can be used, you just want to make sure that they have some weight to them so they can work well in the sign.

Next you want to place the names in the middle open space of "MOM' and size them so that they just overlap at the top and bottom.

Here you can see that you can select the bottom half of the word "MOM" and move it up and down allowing for adjustments for more names. I only had 2 names, so I moved it down letting me make the children's names bigger. If you have more names you can move the bottom half up. this will make a narrower space and allow more names to fit by sizing the names smaller. Depending on the names you have you will have to make adjustments to fit and space the names into the sign. Of course there will be a limitation on the number of names you can use at some point.

Step6

I moved the bottom half of "MOM" down and made size adjustments to just overlap again.

Step7

I've added the heart as a spacer between the names and sized it to just overlap the top and the bottom like I did with the names.

Step8

Here we bring it all together into 1 piece to cut. Select "MOM" and the names and heart together. Once selected, click on the combine button at the top of the page and click unite. This will make everything into one combined piece. This is where it is important that everything overlapped when you were placing it before.

Save your work. You can now send the file to you laser to cut out. Once done you can finish any way you want and add the feet if you want it to stand on a table, or use as a wall hanging.
