The preview image is generated based on the G-code to show the effect of different parameters. Support zoom in / out, and allows preview without connecting devices.
3. [Solved Issues]
Fixed the issue of line distortion when importing DXF files.
Solved the problem of missing graphics on the preview page when importing svg files.
New Features Overview
Layer Function
- After importing multi-color vector files into XCS, the software automatically detects color variation and generates layers accordingly.
- Users have the flexibility to change the layer assignments of elements within an image.
- By selecting a particular layer, all objects within that layer can be selected at once.
*Please note that due to the addition of layers in XCS V1.3, vector graphics set to cut will not automatically turn purple; similarly, graphics set to engrave and score will not automatically turn orange.

AI-Generated Drawing
- Input text and allow AI to generate an array of images autonomously.
- Each AI-generated image will consume 5 xTool Points, and you can always earn more by posting your makings on xTool Community.

Save, Import, and Export Custom Parameters
- Users can now save up to 30 sets of parameter schemes for each processing mode.

- Support for the export and import of custom parameter files.

Precise DXF File Parsing
- When this switch is activated, the software will employ the DXF parsing algorithm to fix DXF drawing parsing errors (i.e., missing lines, line distortion). When the switch is deactivated, the software reverts to the older algorithm from version 1.2.
- Upon toggling the switch on or off, it will come into effect when importing the subsequent DXF file (without necessitating a software restart).
- Please be aware that the new algorithm will consume more memory and may lead to longer response times for the software. Therefore, we advise against activating it unless your DXF file contains errors.

Improvements
- Intelligent Processing Path Algorithm: The machine will first engrave, then cut, automatically choosing the shortest path for engraving and prioritizing internal objects during cutting.
- Framing Function Updated: F1, D1, D1 Pro, and M1 users can now use the Framing function within the device panel on the edit page.

- G-Code Preview Function: The preview image is now generated based on the G-code to show the effect of different parameters. Users can zoom in or out on the image and preview without connecting devices.
- Parameter Panel UI Optimization:
- The parameter panel has been upgraded to a pop-up format to allow more space for the canvas. Upon selecting an object in the Canvas, the parameter panel will automatically appear on the right.
- If multiple objects are selected and their processing parameters differ, a "multiple values" note will be displayed. In this condition, if you set a new value, all selected objects will adopt this new value.

Solved Issues
- Fixed the issue of line distortion when importing DXF files.
- Solved the problem of missing graphics on the preview page when importing certain SVG files.

IS THERE A WAY T O FILL IN IMAGE'S INSTEAD OF HAVING OUTLINES.THANK YOU
Bonjour, j'ai des soucis de décalage sur tous mes travaux xtool m1 et impossible de graver sur des stylos/ crayons, c'est décalé également, de plus, il ne veut pas faire la mise au point en mode découpe laser à plat
Hello, I have concerns about offset on all my work xtool m1 and impossible to engrave on pens/ pencils, it is also offset, moreover, it does not want to focus in laser cutting mode flat google translat

Does anyone else have the problem with framing (just keeps spinning) with the chuck?
Software froze and crashed like 6 times today. I checked to see if it was updated and it is. Is anyone else having this issue?
As someone stated earlier, after the update the rotary is not working properly, everything is ditorted and I am not getting any answers on how to resolve it.
I really miss the estimated time,I liked being able to look over and get a rough idea of the timing. I'm sure you had other people tell you to get rid of it because it was inaccurate, but I was looking at rough approximations, not to-the-second details, so I'd really appreciate if that could be brought back, or at least some toggle for it.
WHY is the ruler & the menu almost unviewable
Excellent, I have been waiting some time for optimization to XCS paths! Do you have any ball-park-estimates of what kind of savings in time to process a job this results in? A before/after example screenshots of some projects with a posting of the differences in the old/new times for a couple of files would be great to get an idea of the improvement!
Great updates/improvements across the board, looking forward to trying it out!
It would be nice if the popup windows to set your tool parameters could be dragged around the screen. That way you could move it to a corner of the screen so it doesn't block your drawing.
It is better than tying to move the drawing around from under the popup window.
Also, is there a way to hide and unhide layers so you can just see the layer you want to work on?
Thanks for adding the save custom settings feature. I was one of those who suggested it.
If you keep adding more drawing features, I won't need to use CorelDraw to make my designs.
GREAT JOB !!!
Ok, first, I'm really, really impressed with this update. This was a huge undertaking and you really did some fantastic work, I am really feeling justified in my trust in your company now. You're making XCS a viable tool, and it helps me feel less limited by having a laser that needs to use XCS. I'm thrilled.
A two things I'd like you to consider going forward:
1) Choosing colors for layers. A lot of my materials are dark and a black default layer on that is hard to see. I'd like to be able to click on the layer window and select a color for each layer. Default black is ok, but if you'd really like to knock it out of the park, I'd really love to see somewhere in the preferences being able to select a default color for each layer.
2) Losing the estimated time line is a bit of a loss. My laser is in my studio away from my computer, so it can vent outside cleanly, and I liked being able to look over and get a rough idea of the timing. I'm sure you had other people tell you to get rid of it because it was inaccurate, but I was looking at rough approximations, not to-the-second details, so I'd really appreciate if that could be brought back, or at least some toggle for it.
Neither of these are deal breakers, but they'd be very welcome improvements.
Is anyone else having rotary issues as of the last 2 or 3 weeks? the image comes out slightly condensed on the cup/tumbler and when testing a perfect circle it comes out as oval, i have tried everything and support hasn't offered me any solutions except stating its a software issue and stopped replying to my ticket.
also laser stoped firing when framing delete and reinstalled the program with same results, I'm worried that these small things will take a long time to resolve.
New updates are okay, would be more useful to get some curved text or a dimensioning tool. This software is still extremely basic and you can't do a lot that you should be able to, hope more updates come soon.
After the update some windows have wrong dimensions, hiding buttons.
Is there a way to redimesion these windows?
For example see the screenshot:
UPDATE: The problem seems to be the language, since in English the buttons are smaller and the problem isn't present anymore. So a workaround is to set the english language, waiting for a bug fix....
I updated but there is no longer the cutting mode, but only engraving
I have a D1 machine and when I use the new software I don't have an option turn on my laser, set where the framing will start, or a estimated time. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I have check for software updates, reinstalled the program and searched the internet for help with no luck.
I was waiting for all these new features now working on the D1 Pro laser makes my life easier. Excellent updates.
How do you frame now on D1 pro? I cant find anything to let me dial it in theres no starting point I wanna position middle of circle
The update is nice. I'm am wondering what happened to estimated time for the job that was on the framing/start page. Also what happened to the "cancel" button? Both of these features were very handy. Especially the ability to see how long a project should take.
Im still new to this but im not seeing the ability to edit the outline function. with custom shapes, the algo is picking up the wrong parts to cut...kind of frustrating.
Question: If a person has the P2 and F1, do you need to install different software for each on a Windows machine? The download page implies there is different software for each machine? But, the download files appear to be the same, confusing?
Thanks
What material did you use? Keep us updated on the results.
Hey there, I wasn't quite sure where to post this but I felt I needed to share.
I made a slight modification to the xTool M1 laser head to reduce the amount of dust getting into the internal components. I used a small amount of the material used to filter computer fans and glued it to the underside of the fan cover. I am still testing but initial results look promising. It's not perfect but its better than nothing!
